Super Bowl, Taking a course and upcoming Olympics
Well...
I watched Superbowl. If you don't realize the total implications of this, then you don't know of my utter lack of interest in watching the "long" sports. By "long" I mean -long in duration. It takes forever to watch a game of football or baseball, never mind cricket. And yet, I watched the Superbowl and even picked the underdogs (New Orleans) to win. Not a bad choice it turns out... just wish that I had bet on it. While I was actually watching it for the great commercials, we simply did not get to see them here in Canada as we were bombarded by the "Do you believe?" Olympic Campaign.... If I have to hear that song one more time......
I am also taking a night course of trades exploration. So far I have welded, done Electrical work, and now I am on to sheet metal. Quite a bit of fun really.
Me and Kurt will be going over to Vancouver on the last day of the Olympics, it could be a gong show but I kinda hope it will be. That is the day of the closing ceremonies and the mens final gold medal hockey match.
Go Canada Go.

Slow and Steady
Well... no new points aquired since watching Avatar. While we (Kurt and I) visited a beautiful beach... we found no whole shells and did not feel like it was the proper time to try body surfing or having a shower under a waterfall.
That being said, Mystic beach is very beautifull and I would highly recomend everyone to go there.

The next point.... #5
So now We start to plan...
mwah haha
Kurt just signed up for Twitter... earning us a #5 point!!
As well, I have signed up and paid for a 2 month Exploratory trades course!! Plumbing anyone? point #6
This weekend me and Kurt will take off to Mt. Finlyson and try our best to get a rubbing... it could be difficult since its raining. Point #7
Next... the BLOCKBUSTER movie!! I bet you can guess what it is... thats right AVATAR ... point #8
So by the end of next week we will have accumulated 3 more points... up to 8!!
I challenge Cam and Grandma to do better.
Easy future points will also be... reading a romance novel, Pulitzer prize novel, Oprah Novel, Childrens book, watching some of the 10 movies, hiking at goldsteam to find the # of ties, going out for breakie/dinner, going to a castle or Catholic church.... just planning ahead

Point # 4
First of all..... Happy Birthday Mom.... Unfortunately no points for getting older.
We went to the MUSEUM!! The Royal Victoria Museum actually. It is the week of donation for entry. I was extremely tired as I dragged my sorry self through the endless halls...
History can be sooo... old!!
Actually it was pretty interesting seeing all of the techie updates they have done since I went when I was a kid. Lots of interactive sites and computers.
BUT.... I ask you.... where was the "submarine" exhibit?? I couldn't find it. Is it hidden somewhere or have they taken it away.
And let me ask.... "Does anyone really actually care about the silver of the stars exhibit?"
here is the link... cut and paste to access the museum site
